Busy Raising Humans...

You won't see much from me for a while. I'm giving them my all.

Works In Progress...

"What To Do When The Lights Go Out" is an illustrated preparedness manual that will help you prepare for power outages.

It'll be a fun illustrated story about a gal named Sally. She endures power outage after power outage, and each time it happens, she learns one more way to be better prepared from the next one. It'll be told like a "Fun with Dick and Jane" story, and will be accompanied by illustrations, check lists, electricity/power facts, and actionable items to help YOU prepare for power outages.

"Willing Vessels" is a religious, inspirational, non-fiction story that addresses the topic of vessels in the scriptures, and how to become a willing vessel.

I'll write about all of the miracles we find in the scriptures that include vessels, like when Elisha fills all the vessels with oil, or when Christ fills the fishing boats so full they almost sink. I'll also write about the different uses and techniques of making and repairing vessels across cultures, including techniques like boat building, pit firing pottery, and Kintsugi. These uses and techniques will help us to better understand the importance of being a willing vessel, and how that can enrich our lives.

I write about being a vessel, the things we carry, and what we can do when we become broken or feel useless.

Things I've Published...

"A Christmas Angel" was written with the help of my then four-year-old daughter, and her name appears with mine. This started out as "just another" homeschool project and turned into something that I think is quite wonderful.

This little  picture book is a delightful poem about a dog who runs away with the turkey and the chase that ensues.

It is available on Amazon, and I am currently working on formatting this, and my Christmas Angel book for iBooks and print.

Regardless of where you are starting, every maker has a metaphorical toolbox. In that toolbox, they carry tools like, persistence, skills learned, and a positive attitude. In this book I have tried to capture the six most essential tools that you can carry in your mindset toolbox. It is my hope that by the end of reading this book, you will feel as if you can DIY anything.
