Hi! I'm Lindsay.
I am a lifelong reader, writer and photographer. Right now, the thing I'm focusing on most is getting licensed as a Davis Program Facilitator so I can teach reading and life skills to people who suffer with dyslexia. In the course of helping my son overcome his own dyslexia struggles, I have discovered an abiding passion for teaching others how to read.
Time is limited, so while I am primarily working on my Program Facilitator license, I still spend a little time every single day doing the things I love; photography, reading, and writing. I love reading, and I have too many favorite books and authors to mention. I take my own family portraits, and I sometimes do portraits for friends and family members. I recently started a storytelling podcast, which is my passion project. Sometimes the things I write end up in books I've self-published. Sometimes they just go in my personal journals and albums. Sometimes I even work for other people. I like to write children's books. I am a mom and I think that it is great when my kids can say, "My mommy wrote that for me!" I have begun the research phase on an YA historical fiction trilogy all about the Vikings in North America and their interactions with the Native Americans. I'm learning some really neat things! It will be a long while in the research and planning stages, especially while I'm working on other things, but it should be pretty epic.

I am a wife, mother, writer, photographer, homesteader, prepper, and great haver of fun! I am interested in a lot of things, but like I always say,
"You can be anything you want to be, you can be everything you want to be, but you can only be one thing at a time."
