I have been a maker all my life, but only recently have I completely lost the fear of trying new things. Since we moved to our homestead in 2013, I have made my own dryer balls, learned how to can my own meat, built my own closets, and more. I think I've found the key to being a successful DIY-er. George Washington Carver said, “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” Regardless of where you are starting, every maker has a metaphorical toolbox. In that toolbox, they carry tools like, persistence, skills learned, and a positive attitude. In this book I have tried to capture the six most essential tools that you can carry in your mindset toolbox. It is my hope that by the end of reading this book, you will feel as if you can DIY anything. Coming Soon! The Audio Book |
